Serotonin is a television drama based around myths, folklore and many supernatural creatures.
It is set in the same world that is established in The Angel of Darkness novel and could be considered a sequel to that novel, although it can stand alone without needing the novel.
There will also be a number of novels with the Serotonin team, how many I don't know until they are written, but so far the plan is for at least two, namely a first Serotonin novel, followed by Serotonin: The Blood Countess.

Synopsis:
Rob is hunter of the supernatural, although unlike many other hunters he has unexplained powers that help him in his quest to seek out and destroy the creatures that are preying on innocent humans. There are other secrets that Rob also keeps close to his chest, like the reasons for him being a hunter after having turned his back on his calling many years before.
During a hunt Rob manages to help James and Katie, two university students, escape from and destroy the creatures that has abducted them. Afterwards Rob convinces the two students to join him on his quest to help control the balance of life on Earth.
Throughout the first series, Rob, James and Katie embark on a number of quests having to deal with all kinds of creatures, but they also meet other people who they also have to investigate such as the mysterious Brady, who proves to be very unpredicable.
Soon they discover that an immortal revolution is being planned, where hundreds of immortals plan to rise up and take back the world that they once ruled over as mortals and they must do everything in their power to stop it because if they don't it could wake up the true immortals of the world who would rise and kill millions in order to maintain the balance between the mortal and immortal worlds.

This series will hopefully find its way on to television, there is just no telling when, but it will shortly be sent out to various different contact in the hope of being picked up.
Should it ever make it on to television the show would run for three series of eight episodes, finished off with a two hour special, but that is getting ahead of the game.
